Abstract
Introduced the national integrated planning of water resources in the northwest catchment surface water quality and its evaluation results,the paper started from the point and nonpoint source pollution,status quo,and analyzed the quality status of the surface water of rivers as well as the lakes or reservoirs,then not only evaluated the water function zone of the polluted status,but also analyzed the pollution trend.The results show that,a) in the area of most rivers and lakes water quality is good,only few region exists different degrees of pollution;there are 11.2% water function area of major pollutants into the river over the pollutant carrying capacity,the overload areas mainly distributed in Hexi inland river basins,northern Tianshan and Tarim headstream water natural resources such as the Level 2 district;Central Asia inland river and the main stream of Tarim River concentrations of various items marked an upward trend.
