Analysis of Interaction Mechanism Between the Urban-rural Coordinated Development and the Urban-rural Income Gap

How to reduce the urban-rural income gap and realize the coordinated development of urban and rural areas has become one of the key issues in the progress of Chinese economic and social development at the moment.This paper,based on further definition of the content of the problem of urban-rural income gap,moderate gap of urban-rural income and the coordinated development between urban and rural areas,analyses and discusses the interaction mechanism between the coordinated development of urban and rural areas and urban-rural income gap:on the one hand,the coordinated development between urban and rural areas is conductive to narrowing the urban-rural income gap,on the other hand,moderate urban-rural income gap is a necessary condition and requirement for the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,the higher or lower will not be conductive to economic growth and cause social instability.To the status quo of Chinese urban-rural development,this paper analyses the security conditions to promote the interaction between coordinated development of urban and rural areas and urban-rural income gap according to the following two aspects:the government policies and investment about education,taxation infrastructure and social security in the rural area,and the farmers' increasing incomes by revitalizing the rural economy and mobilizing the enthusiasm of the farmers in production and livelihood.
