Abstract

With the fast development in WDM network, the research and application on RWA become very ripe. In thesame time with the explosive growing of IP Date traffic, the technique of ASON have enormous development potentiality.But the researches on RWA algorithm in ASON still have a long way to develop compared to the RWA algorithm in WDM.Based on the wavelength assignment algorithm in WDM, the demand and improvement in ASON are explicated andproposed.
