Abstract

This paper analyzed the causes of early cracks on high performance concrete.Temperature deformation and autogenous shrinkage were the main reasons to cause the crack of concrete, and the shrinkage can be ignored. Thus lower temperature shrinkage and self shrinkage controled concrete early cracking. It also introduced the adding superplasticizer to reduce hydration degree, mixing expansive agent to compensate shrinkage and adding fiber to resist crack and toughening.
