Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship among the place of deep venous indwelling catheter, catheter's lasted time and pathogenicbacteria infection of hemodialysis patients. Methods 47 hemodialysis patients who were indwelled deep venous catheter in our dialysis center were be divided into two groups: jugular vein catheter group and femoral vein catheter group, blood bacteria culture and drug susceptibility conditions were analyzed for them every week. Results Both of the infection rates of jugular vein catheter group and femoral vein catheter group were 6.38%,the times between the catheter indwelled day and infected day of the two groups were(36.00±6.93)day and(27.67±4.73) days. Conclusion Early blood bacteria culture is helpful to discover early catheter-related infection and is benefit for its early therapy.
