Abstract

One classical soil slope case is studied in slope stability.Finite element strength reduction method is applied to set up two-dimensional and three-dimensional models, and the calculation results between the finite element strength reduction method and the rigid limit equilibrium method(Spencer method and Bishop method) are compared. The results show it can meet the demand of projects, worthy of popularization.
