Abstract
In order to further enhance oil recovery in Daqing Oilfield, the technical feasibility of steam flooding after polymer flooding has been studied through physical simulation. The experimental results indicate that steam flooding after polymer flooding can improve oil displacement efficiency in high and medium permeability zones, meanwhile steam overlap effect can effectively drive remaining oil in the upper part of the oil reservoir and improve sweep efficiency.Thermal recovery after polymer flooding has been proved technically feasible. This paper provides basis for field test of steam flooding after polymer flooding in Daqing Oilfield.
