Abstract
On the basis of the tests of texture depth and pendulum tester,the characteristics of skid resistance of tunnel pavements are surveyed in Guizhou Province, etc. The results of texture depth (TD)and skid resistance value(SRV)show that the skid resistance of cement concrete pavements in tunnels can not long endure,which increases the possibility of accidents in tunnels.After analyzing the factors causing a relatively poor skid resistance to tunnel pavements, some methods to improve the capacity of skid resistance are suggested in accordance with the type of pavements used in tunnels.
