Abstract

Objective: To investigate the expression of HPVL1 and p16 protein in variety of cervical lesions.Methods: The expression of HPV and p16 protein in 57 cases of various clinical cervical lesions were detected by immunohistochemistry method(including 22 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade CIN1,13 CIN2-class,12 CIN3 grade and 10 cases of invasive squamous cell carcinoma).Results: The positive rate of HPV L1 protein was 24.6% in high-risk human papilloma virus,36.4% in the clinical detection of CIN1,and 46.2% in CIN2.It had no expression in CIN3 and invasive squamous cell carcinoma.The positive rate of P16 protein was 66.7% in a variety of cervical lesions,36.4% in CIN1 and 69.2% in CIN2.The expression was positive in CIN3 and invasive squamous cell carcinoma.Conclusions: As the development of cervical lesions,the positive rate of the high-risk human papillomavirus HPV L1 decreases while the positive expression rate of P16 protein increases.The prediction of the biological behavior in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN is valuable in detection of cervical disease,which can provide more reliable clinical evidence for individualized treatment.
