Abstract

To analyze the interaction of adjacent ink areas and the effects of ink flow characteristics caused by the driving roller's axial movement, this paper simulates five adjacent ink areas on two rotating ink rollers. By simulating three conditions that the ink amount of the middle ink area is equal to,less than, and greater than that of the adjacent ink areas, the effect of the middle ink area caused by its adjacent ink areas on each side is analyzed. Analysis show that in the printing process, the pressure and speed and ink layer thickness of ink on the ink roller are affected by the interaction of adjacent ink areas. For the driving roller with an axial speed,by analyzing the ink pressure, the axial speed and the ink thickness of the middle ink area,it is found that the axial speed promotes the ink flow and enhances the interaction of adjacent ink areas.
