Abstract
Based upon analysis of the engineering properties of loess the reasons caused the roadbed diseases of highway in loess area compared with roadbed with clay soil are analyzed;at the same time effective prevention methods are introduced as well as key points for construction,which is significant to instruct roadbed construction in loess area.
