Abstract
Based on the analysis of high-pressure common rail fuel injection system,a common rail system model was built in MATLAB/Simulink environment with mathematical modeling methods, and a hardware-in-loop simulation system was designed with dSPACE tool.During the modeling process, the models of injector,high-pressure fuel pump and common rail pipe were established according to the volume model and the Bernoulli equation. The results show that the design of model is reasonable and can simulate the common rail system well. The simulation of rail pressure control shows that the combination of feedforward and PID feedback is superior to traditional PID control.
