Abstract

Focused on the interoperability and reuse of the simulation systems, a technical overview of Model Driven Architecture is given. Then it discusses the possibility of applying MDA to HLA, and presents the technical approach of merging MDA into HLA. Finally, it introduces the next generation modeling and simulation framework: eXtensible Modeling and Simulation Framework.
