Abstract
The excised leaf tissue inoculation(ELTI) method was used to identify the resistance of rice to bacterial leaf streak in this paper. The results showed that ELTI was a more efficient and dependable method for disease-resistance identification than the traditional method. It was necessary to keep leaf green by adding 75~100 μL/mL of benzimidazole into agar medium in the whole identification period. For efficient inoculation and identification of excised leaf tissue, the temperature was required to be 25~30 ℃,and the lowest concentration of bacterial solution should be 3×105 CFU/mL.
