Application of GPSone Positioning Technology

The GPSone positioning technique is the most advanced positioning technique now.It implants the wireless GPS position and the CDMA triangle position into the terminal CMOS chip,combines the two techniques in an organic way,and forms a mixed position technique of GPSone in the mobile market.It spurns the mode of traditional positioning terminal,and has the features of fewer blind spots,broad adaptation,and low-cost.It also overcomes the defects of non-accuracy when it is in indoor spots,in the underground parking lots,in the tunnel or in the high buildings,improves the precision and probability of position.This paper first analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the generally used position technology,especially focuses on GPS and GPSone.According to the characteristic of GPS and GPSone,and the requirement of system operating cost,a hybrid position method is proposed,which employs both GPS and GPSone while takes GPS as the master technology for acquisition of position data.
