Abstract
An axisymetric two-dimensional model is presented to describe the internal ballistics of solid propellant electrother- mal chemical gun.The calculated results accord well with experimental results.This suggests the feasibility of the model.Re- sults of two-dimensional model show detailed distribution of ballistics parameters.The model provides an effective way to further investigate the process of plasma ignition and combustion augmentation.It can also be applied to prediction and analysis of ex- perimental projects.
