Abstract
The paper describes the abnormal vibration faults of a 36MW gas turbine generator during operation.By monitoring the vibration data of the total unit,we decide that the abnormal vibration is caused by bearing oil whirling and rotor unbalance.Adjustment of bearing gap elevation and rotor balance are thus used to solve the vibration problem with good effect.The unit operates reliably after the adjustment.
