The Diagnosis and Treatment of the Pediatric Coin Ingestion

Objective:To formulate an algorithm of management for the pediatric coin ingestion through 65 children with coin ingestion.Method:We reviewed and assessed the symptoms,diagnosis,foreign body removed process and complication.Result:All coin foreign body can be naturally removed from stool after average three days and none of them with complication or toxication.Conclusion:Pediatric coin foreign body ingestion with no need for special treatment and pass out naturally from stool,but it is necessary to observe complicaiton and toxication taken place whether or not.
