Abstract
The new novels in the late Qing Dynasty expressed the political-current events.Namely,nationwas the narrative center .The history of political ideas from the dynasty to the nation is concealed in the purport of the new novels.Upgrading of the status of novel and the springing up of the new novels in the late Qing Dynasty was the appearance of intellectual's crisis consciousness.
