On the Prehistoric Culture in the Southern Region of Liaodong Peninsula

In prehistoric period, the southern region of Liaodong Peninsula lay in the boundary area between two cultural regions. Influenced by both the northeast cultural region and Haidai cultural region, the descriptive cultural features were formed. Relatively the southern region of Liaodong Peninsula had a closer relation with Shandong Peninsula. The cultural communication between the two regions began in B. C. 4500, and continually strengthened with the cultural evolution. The southern region of Liaodong Peninsula had become a small cultural area of Haidai cultural region in B. C. 2600. The cultural communication between the southern region of Liaodong Peninsula and Shandong Peninsula both promoted the formation of prehistory cultural features and profoundly influenced the historical period.
