Discussion on the Current Coverage of Radio and Television in Mountainous Wencheng County

The development and coverage of radio and television broadcasting in mountainous Wencheng County are presented, and the possible methods that can be used in remote villages without radio or television coverage at present are discussed in this paper. Wireless broadcasting is considered as the major choice to realize large fraction of television coverage. Digitalized wireless broadcasting has unique advantage and space for development. Several ground air-traffic digital transmission systems are analyzed. Finally, a transmission system of digital television that caters to Wencheng County and its implementing scheme are proposed.
