Discussion on the Major Features and Social Function of the Village Sports——on site research to Shenquanzhuang in Linyi of Shandong

Taking the sports of Shenquanzhuang as subjects,the author discusses on the major features and social function of village sports by field investigation.The results show that the village sports have various features comparing the city and town residents' sports,such as relaxing of the organization and flexibility of the format,season of the time and the folk-custom of the contents,universality of the participants and imbalance of the movable peoples,positivity of the function and deflection of the disorder.The major social function of the village sports as fellows;it will benefit to the integration of the village community,inheriting the folk's culture,evade the disorganization of social order and pushing the construction of new socialist rural country.
