Abstract
Research on 3 strong insecticidal derivatives,podophyllotoxin,deoxypodophyllotoxin and α apopicropodophyllotoxin showed that they all exhibited high antifeeding and poisonous activities against \%Pieris rapae\%.AFC50 was 0.057 g·L -1 ,0.052 g·L -1 and 0.070 g·L -1 respectively.All insects died finally after treatment with podophyllotoxin at a concentration of 0.04 g·L -1 deoxypodophyllotoxin and 0.05 g·L -1 α apopicropodophyllotoxin respectively.These chemicals all showed delayed insecticidal activities.The activity to \%Plutella xylostella\% and \%Mythimna separata\% were also determined.
