Luji's Wen Fu expressed his literary theory and criticism in the form of fu,a prose writing style prevailing during the Han Dynasty and the Southern and Northern Dynasty.Literature especially poetry and fu of Wei and Jin Dynasty was flourish,Wen Fu discoursed upon the writers who gave priority to the literature creation of fu mostly.Luji made a summary of poetry and fu creation in theory through what he has learned form his experience and the others.The two traditions of poetry and fu were to be adjusted to that time.
