A Folk Music Type of the Buyi Nationality——Biguan and Biguan music

Abstract

Biguang music is a Buyi folk song within Libo County,Guizhou Province.It is named after the form of the Chinese writing brush.It is popular in a few areas in Libo County.The Biguang instrument has existed for centuries.Its music form is fairly individual.This article tries to make a desk study on its history,its form and its special performing form.
