Abstract

Using Altemanthera ficoidea cv.Ruliginosa,Limnophila aromatica(Lam.) Merr.Bambusa multiplex cv.Fernleaf and Cyperus alternifolius as ecological floating bed plants to absorpt phosphorus and nitrogen in sewage.Total phosphorus(TP),soluble phosphorus, total Nitrogen(TN) in test sewage were 3.24~12.32 mg/L,2.71~10.00 mg/L,14.65~62.51mg/L respectively, the testing time were 3~12 days. The average removal rates of TP in test sewage by Altemanthera Ficoidea cv.Ruliginosa,Cyperus alternifolius,Limnophila aromatica(Lam.) Merr.Bambusa multiplex cv.Fernleaf.were 94%,82.03%,75.11%,74% respectively; The average removal rates of soluble phosphorus in test swage were 84.24%,78.94%,78.66% and 78.14% respectively;and the average removal rates of TN were 86.6%,75.9%,74.8% and 71.1% respectively. The removal rates of phosphorus and nitrogen in sewage by four tested plants: Altemanthera Ficoidea cv.Ruliginosa Cyperus alternifolius Limnophila aromatica(Lam.) Merr. Bambusa multiplex cv.Fernleaf.
