Abstract
Objective:To observe the control rates for blood pressure of felodipine sustained release tablets in Chinese hypertensive patients.Method: 60 cases were recruited, the patients were administered 5mg~10mg/day for 10 weeks.Result: Mean blood pressure were found to be significantly lowered from166.2±14.9/99.5±11.2mmHg to 132.4±8.8/78.4±7.2mmHg.The control rates for blood pressure at the 10th week were 85.0%.No serious side effect was found during the course of the treatment. Conclusion: Felodipine sustained release tablets 5mg~10mg/day is effective, safe and better compliance in Chinese patients with primary hypertension.
