Abstract
Objective: To investigate the serotype distribution of Shigellosis Zhengzhou city from 2005 to 2010. Methods: According to the Project for Surveillance of Shigellosis in Chinato carry out shigella bacteria laboratory testing. Results: 183 strains of shigella were isolated from 2851 diarrhea cases(6.65%).Among them,145 strains were S.flexneri(145/183,79.2%) and 38 strains were S.sonnei(38/183,20.8%).Among the 145 strains of S.flexneri,55 subtype were F4c(30.0%),39 subtype were F2a(21.3%),36 subtype were F1a(19.7%),6 subtype were F2b(3.3%),4 subtype were Fx(2.2%),2 subtype were F4a(1.1%),1 subtype were Fy(0.5%) and 1 strains were F6(0.5%).Among the 38 strains of S.sonnei,30 strains were SⅠ.sonnei(16.4%) and 8 strains were SⅡ.sonnei(4.4%). Conclusion: F4c was the major prevalence subtype(2005 and 2006),F2a and S.sonnei was the major prevalence subtype and serotype(2007-2010).
