Review on Methods of Water Environmental Quality Assessment

The methods of water environmental quality assessment,which are widely applicable,were reviewed in this paper.The principle,advantages and disadvantages of the methods were discussed,including single factor assessment method,water quality index evaluation method,fuzzy synthetic evaluation method,grey analysis method,artificial neural network method and water quality identification index method.At the meantime,the methods of lake eutrophication assessment were discussed.The characteristics of methods of water environmental quality assessment,and the prospective of the research and application of the methods of water environmental quality assessment were proposed.
