Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the chemical constituents of Gynura divaricata(L.) DC.MethodsSilica gel column chromatography was employed for the isolation and purification of chemical constituents.The structures were identified on the basis of spectral data and chemical evidence.ResultsTen compounds were isolated and identified as follows: n-Eicosane(1),Tetracosanol(2),Octacosanoic acid(3),Octacosyl alcohol(4),Palmitic acid(5),Stigmasterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(6),Stigmasterol(7),β-Sitosterol(8),Daucosterol(9),Friedelin(10).ConclusionCompounds 1~6,9,10 were isolated from Gynura divaricata(L.) DC for the first time.
