Abstract

This article summarized the concept of evidence-based medicine (EBM),its developing trend, and significance in clinical practice; pointed out the relationship between EBM and medical information services; introduced resource classify, evaluation, and searching process of EBM; and showed that how to obtain systematic assess with scientific evidence and medical practical guide, then formed support system of clinical strategic decision. At the same time, the article expounded that EBM practice brings the developing chances and challenges to the libraries, and emphasized that overall professional quality of medical information staff must be improved, which is the key problem for further improving medical information service.
