Abstract
This paper gives out a design of the floppy disk control systerm based on the MCU.It describes the controller FDC37C78,the connect circuit and driver between the MCU and the floppy disk driver,and the applications.It explains the trues of the system and the function of the modules on computer,and describes the file format of the floppy disk.The connect circuit and driver between the MCU and the floppy disk driver are designed.The designed applications run in computers.Each component communicates with others via UART port.The system can achieve the functions as read,write,format,etc.The software can be transplanted to ARM or other controllers to fit the industry locale.
