The assimilation of Japanese Romanticism to European Romanticism

At the end of the 18th century,as the reaction to the Neoclassical,the trend of European Romanticism thought occurred in England and German.It subsequently influenced France and embraced the whole Europe continent and lit the fire of romance in North Europe,Russian and Asia.Depending on the kindling of European Romanticism,Japanese Romanticism rose quietly a century later.Although Japanese Romanticism did not affect her literature history a lot as European Romanticism did,it promoted by European Romanticism and had a little effect.As YOSHIDA Seiiti said,without European literature,the modern Japanese literature can not be exist.As we all know,it is selective and not passive for one country to accept outside influence.Due to the limited space,only European Romanticism is adopted among the numerous influential sources in this article.Through the analysis of representatives' works,we discussed the selection and assimilation of Japanese Romanticism to European Romanticism,and furthermore make clear the relationship between Japanese Romanticism and European Romanticism.
