Abstract
The synergistic effect and efficacy of Lufenuron and Tebufenozide against Spodoptera litura(Fabricius)were measured under laboratory and field conditions. The results showed that mixture of the two pesticides by 1:1 ratio exhibited remarkable synergistic effect, with the Co-toxicity index(CTC) of 134.03.The field trial results indicated that 10% Lufenuron?Tebufenozide for controlling S.litura was superior in efficacy and persistency for the control of S.Litura over the tested pesticide alone. The control rate kept at 91.31% after 5 days of treatment with 25 g /ha active ingredient.
