Abstract
[Objective]The study aimed to discuss the effect of extraction condition on the extraction rate of flavonoids in the orange peel so as to determine the optimum extraction process condition.[Method]With the orange peel as the test material, through the single-factor test and the L9(34) orthogonal test, the effect of 4 factors including microwave power, ethanol concentration,solid-liquid radio and treatment time on the extraction of flavonoids were researched by using microwave extraction and the optimum extraction process of flavonoids was confirmed.[Result]The optimum extraction process condition of flavonoids in orange peel by using microwave was as follows:treatment time of 120 s,solid-liquid radio of 1:15,ethanol concn.of 60% and microwave power of 180 W.The effects of 4 factors on the flavonoids extraction rate order were as:solid-liquid radio microwave power ethanol concentration extraction time,in which the effects of soild-liquid radio and ethanol concn.were larger. The extraction rate of flavonoids in orange peel by using microwave extraction was 5.27% under the optimum condition.[Conclusion]The extracting speed and yield of flavonoids in orange peel were increased by using microwave extraction which had the characters of no noise, low energy consumption, high efficiency,no destroying the effective components and so on.
