Abstract
As a traditional labor-intense industry, it is generally believed that the textile and garment industry will meet with the great opportunity after China's entry into the WTO. After having analyzed the prospect of its export, the author believes that the future export situation is full of challenges because of the slow down of the development of the world economy, the intense competition in the world market and the decrease of the its competitive advantage. Some suggestions are presented accordingly herein.
