Abstract
With the study of the state of wildlife resources in Longtan hydropower station,the wildlife resources of Hongshuihe natural reserve was investigated during the period from August to September,2002.382 species belonging to 105 families were recorded.Among them,36species belonged to Pieces,45 to Amphibia,57 to Reptilia,179 to Aves,and 55 to Mammalia.And 48 species belonged to National Important Protected Wildlife.According to the geological division,this natural reserve was the crossing region between Central China district and South China district,Oriental Kingdom.After the reservoir fulfills storingwater,some habitats will be changeable;this will lead to vicissitudes of animal communities,and the diversity of fishes will decline.
