Abstract

City is a artificial ecosystem that is based on persons. Urban ecosystem is adjusted and controled by urban ecological mechanism. If the urban planning introduces the ecological mechanism, it is favorable to the forming and benign cycle of the urban ecosystem. In this paper,taking the practice from Urban planing work of Hengyang as example,the authors discuss the relationship between urban planning and ecologcal mechanism,indicate the basic problems in urban planning and constraction and ecological environment crises resulted from it, and put forward some proposales for urban planning and constraction in the 21st century
