Abstract
In order to explore rutting at asphalt pavement, this paper establishes a three-dimensional finite element model of asphalt pavement, and determines the set layer of high modulus asphalt concrete by analyzing the mechanical response with its setting layer in different structures. At the same time,it further analyzes the stress influence of modulus and thickness to pavement structure, which is in the middle layer of high modulus asphalt concrete. The results show that high modulus asphalt concrete can significantly inhibit the generation of rutting, and recommends that its control module should be from 2000MPa to 2500MPa,thickness from 5cm to 7cm.
