Application and analysis of 3D high accuracy seismic interpretation in Jiyang prospect area

Abstract

A high-accuracy seismic exploration has been conducted in the second round of exploration for Shengli Oilfield since 1997 and a total of more than 20 surveys have been ac-quired and the data has been used in the interpretation. The comparison between processing and interpretation results shows that the quality of high-accuracy seismic data is much higher than the conventional seismic data. A high-accuracy seismic fine calibration,fine structural interpretation,high-accuracy subtle lithology description and high-accuracy reservoir prediction and fluid identification are applied in the oil-field development for the different areas and the different targets. The fine description technique has played a very important role in the exploration of lithology in-terpretation and complex geological body as well as subtle reservoirs like complex faulted block,lithology,deep formation and buried hill,etc.
