Study of Inter-cultural Communication and Cross-cultural Awareness

The inter-cultural communication between the people with different cultural backgrounds is becoming more and more frequent,with the globalization of social life and economic activities.In recent years,inter-cultural communication study has been started in China and more attention paid to cross-cultural awareness.This paper analyzes the significance and necessity of culture in inter-cultural communication and discusses the potential problems and the effect thereof in inter-cultural communication from the relations between language,culture and communication.Then it probes into the strategies to improve the cross-cultural awareness.
