The effects of disturbance on maintaining mechanism of species diversity

The disturbance of community is different from catastrophe.A moderate disturbance of community,in some case,could not have a side effects on biology.On the contrary,it could become a great strength for the evolution of species.Intermediate disturbance hypothesis is important for species diversity.This theory is helpful for man to exploit resources in a reasonable way.Some examples have shown that most plant and animal are benefit from the middling disturbance for their growth,and the moderate disturbance could increace the species diversity.
