A Juristical Control on Human Cloning Research

The controversy on human cloning has never stopped since the day that Scottish researchers announced the birth of a cloned lamb,the world's first cloned mammal.With the development of clone technology,more than ten kinds of mammal have been cloned successfully by now.Now,there is no technical difficulty for cloning of human beings.More than thirty countries in the world prohibit human cloning,but there were several unconfirmed news about the birth of cloning human in the past years.We need to face the issue of the legal status of cloned human.In my opinion,it is unreasonable to forbid human cloning,and it is difficult to carry out in reality.The legal system of China should handle this issue appropriately,allowing the research of human cloning as an assistant means to procreate under the strict law control.Some preliminary ideas about the legislation on human cloning were also proposed in this paper.
