Abstract
Demand forecasting is an important task of weapon equipment support.To ease the support decision,the demand forecasting and inventory control were combined,and an integrated forecasting solution based on system was proposed.The proposed solution uses different forecasting methods for spare parts of different type,and the best combination of forecasting methods is used to forecast the future demand of spare parts.Simultaneously,the corresponding inventory solution of spare parts under the constraints of cost is obtained.So,the proposed solution is convenient for support personnel to reach a decision.Experiments show that the integrated forecasting solution is reasonable and feasible.
