Abstract

This paper discusses the deformation of the embankment soil,compression,and compaction characteristics,and summarizes the factors affecting its basic classification of highway embankment settlement,and to explore the relevant measures to control the embankment settlement,in various stages of the construction of the project to take measures and reduce the embankment settlement,to ensure that the quality of construction of the highway roadbed,to provide guidance for future engineering practice.
