Abstract

Verticillium wilt is the main disease in cotton production in China.We mainly summarize the research progress of disease and resistance mechanism of Verticillium wilt and resistance breeding.Breeding resistant varieties is the most effective method for controlling the disease.The breeding direction is prospected.
