Abstract
Biological remediation of petroleum contaminated soils was characterized by being fast in process,low in consumption and cost,high in efficiency,moderate in reaction condition,and free of secondary pollution.The microorganisms used in petroleum degradation,the biological remediation technologies to petroleum contaminated soil and the factors influencing biological remediation efficiency were reviewed.The biological remediation research and the development in the future were prospected.
