Abstract
With the rapid development of 3D GIS and distributed computing techniques in recent years, more and more new GIS architectures are proposed. However, when the 3D GIS data is expected to distribute to large extent and the processed data volume becomes very huge, the efficiency of the system becomes the bottleneck. This paper proposes a solution to solve it, called the CORBA-GIS. At first, a CORBA-based distributed 3D GIS architecture is designed, with which the data can be distributed on Intranet or Internet. Secondly, several key techniques of the interoperation among heterogenous 3D GIS data sources based on different OS are presented.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
