THE SEDIMENTARY FACIES OF JURASSIC SANGONGHE FORMATION IN THE BACK-LAND OF JUNGGAR BASIN

Abstract

The Sangonghe formation of Jurassic is a very important exploration target and a series of significant achievements have been achieved. Take advantages of drilling, logging and seismic data, the Sangonghe formation of one hundred and seventeen wells were divided, on the basis of the thickness of sand bodies and sand percentage, isopach map and sedimentary facies map of J1s1, J1s21 , J1s22 and J1s3 were drawn. In the back-land of Junggar Basin, especially in the registered region of Sinopec, Sedimentary facies types and sandstone distribution were mainly affected by the North-Western and Eastern sediment sources. The 2nd sand segment of Sangonghe formation, oil and gas bearing zone, is the most developed part and the sedimentary facies is delta.
