Abstract
The present study was conducted to investigate the expressions of fast muscle fiber and slow muscle fiber by using immunohistochemistry technology. Results indicated that the content of fast muscle fiber were higher than those of slow muscle fiber by 66.79%(P0.01).The content of fast muscle fiber in biceps femoris was highest among all kinds of muscle fibers. The content of slow muscle fiber in Psoas was highest among all kinds of muscle fibers. The content of slow muscle fiber in Psoas was higher than that of slow muscle fiber in others. The content of slow muscle fiber in biceps femoris muscles was lower than that of others(P0.01).There was no significant differences between biceps femoris and Psoas(P0.05).The results of our immunohistochemistry showed that there was a significant difference between expressions of fast muscle fiber and slow muscle fiber in different parts of porcine muscles.
